About Me
Hi! I'm Madison Noire and I'm a Chicago-based illustrator and animator. I have interned with Barnyard FX, Michael Lynn Animation Studio, and Lucky Jefferson as a concept artist, animator, and literary illustrator respectively. My work has been displayed in five Illinois art shows between 2016-2020. You can also find my art in fishladder's 2021-2024 editions, Grand Valley State University's 2023 Ignite anthology, and Lucky Jefferson's 2024 Ember issue. Currently, I'm freelancing for Grayhill Inc. and working on a second
short film!
I'm interested in exploring the broad concept of femininity through my art, whether that entails effervescent girly aesthetics or societal hardships widely experienced by female-presenting people. Drawing from personal and outside influence, I hope to connect with audiences who may relate to the convoluted question of what it means to be feminine.
When I'm not illustrating, I love to read, play the piano, crochet, rollerblade, experiment with fashion and makeup, study French, and play with my dog, Daisy (pictured above).
